FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Where does owner age come from?

The controlling owner's month and year of birth on the PSC register, or the oldest director's where no PSC age is filed. Estimated ages are a separate option in the search and are labelled as estimates.

Can I see who owns a company?

Yes. Each profile lists directors, controlling owners and the ownership chain up to the ultimate parent. Full shareholder lists beyond the top two holders need a plan.

Will I be told when a target's ownership or board changes?

Not as a separate alert yet. Saved searches tell you when a company newly matches, for example a new director appointment at an owner-managed company, or new accounts that cross your profit line.

Can I load my own target list?

On Professional and Business: paste or upload company names or numbers (500 rows at a time on Professional) and keep them in one list with each company's latest activity, such as new accounts or a new director.
