Questions

The things people ask before joining.

When does CompanyTrack launch?

The weekly signals email runs now, free. The full product opens in 2026 to a founding cohort of 25 firms, and waitlist subscribers get first access in the order they joined.

What is the founding cohort?

The first 25 firms to take a paid seat get half price for their first year, and the founding price stays locked while the subscription stays active. Founding firms also get a direct line to us on which feeds and filters we build next.

What do I get free, forever?

The Monday signals email, all four feeds with limited history, anonymised person and company previews, three named unlocks a week, and one tracked person or company. Enough to judge the signal quality properly before you pay.

Where does the data come from?

Public UK filings, updated daily: full shareholder registers parsed from confirmation statements, officers, PSCs, accounts, charges and share allotments from Companies House, plus property titles where public records carry them. We parse the whole register, not just the 25%+ PSC layer.

What does 'inferred' mean on a signal?

Facts (registers, officers, filings) are shown as filed. Inferences (exits, reunions, smart money) are derived from register and control filings, published only above measured precision thresholds, always labelled, and always carrying the underlying filings as receipts. Spot something wrong? Email [email protected] and we will investigate and correct it.

How fresh are the signals?

New filings are processed daily. Incorporations and SH01 allotments appear in the feeds the day Companies House publishes them. Register changes surface when the underlying filing lands, which for shareholder registers is usually the annual confirmation statement.

Can I export data or get an API?

Team plans include CSV export. A data feed and API is available from £15,000 a year for firms wiring signals into their own systems.

Can I buy a single ownership report without subscribing?

Yes. One-off ownership reports are £149: group tree through every holdco layer, ultimate individual owners, related-party flags and charges. No subscription needed.

How do you handle personal data?

CompanyTrack processes public-register data that Companies House publishes for exactly this kind of scrutiny, under legitimate interests. Inferences about people are precision-gated and labelled, ages are shown from month and year only, and objections or corrections sent to [email protected] are honoured across rebuilds.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, monthly plans cancel any time and run to the end of the period. Founding-cohort pricing stays locked only while the subscription is continuously active.
