What this list counts
- The amount is the value of the new shares stated on each SH01 return of allotment: the number of shares allotted times the price paid for each, summed across a company's filings in the window. It is what the shares were issued for, which is usually new money but can include non-cash consideration such as converted loans.
- The window is SH01s filed in the 30 days to the as-of date, for allotments made in the 75 days before it, so a late filing of an old allotment is not presented as news. The date shown is the latest filing, not the allotment.
- Who qualifies: active private limited companies with three or more shareholders and no corporate parent, in electronically filed sterling returns of between £1m and £100m each. Holding, fund and property-investment vehicles are left out, as are filings whose share capital does not reconcile and amounts far out of scale with the company's own accounts.
- Sector labels and descriptions are CompanyTrack's own classifications, not Companies House data. Every name opens the full company profile.
