We are the national development agency for creativity and culture. By 2030 we want England to be a country in which the creativity of each of us is valued and given the chance to flourish and where everyone of us has access to a remarkable range of high quality cultural experiences. Between 2018 and 2022, we will invest £1.45 billion of public money from government and an estimated £860 million from the National Lottery to help deliver this vision.
01/04/2020 | £5,000.00 | Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport | ALB-Historic England-Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund Resilience Grants |
The Red House, Aldeburgh and Aldeburgh Museum are delighted to be working in partnership to help heritage and collections reach out to Suffolks isolated communities. Both are important heritage sites in rural Suffolk and both are committed to help to engage and inspire communities who may be feeling isolated and alienated at this difficult time. This joint project will help to share the stories and collections from both sites to a wider and more diverse audience now and in in the future. It will help to increase access to our collections, to the most isolated and less culturally engaging communities, helping these families understand their history and heritage while enabling them to work together and develop new skills and qualifications.
