Treetops Hospice Trust
Treetops Hospice Trust
Treetops Hospice is the leading end-of-life care charity in Derby, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire providing nursing care and emotional support for adults with life-limiting conditions, those who’ve been bereaved, and their families. The charity provides support from diagnosis onward for patients with conditions such as cancer, neurological conditions, heart and respiratory conditions, and frailty. Each year, Treetops nurses provide over 20,000 hours of care to terminally-ill patients in their own homes during the day and overnight. Trained counsellors provide over 4,500 hours of bereavement counselling – over 900 bereavement sessions are for grieving children. Treetops services are provided free of charge.
